Kids Cruelty
Some of you may remember me mentioning my favorite niece on a previous post.
Well, there is some cruelty to every kid and she is not an exception: while at the beach this Summer one day she starts counting gray hairs on my head and my beard.
Suddenly she stops and goes: "Gosh! You really ARE old, so many whites!!!".
Yesterday it was my God-daughter's turn, just after a big hug: "You're a lot older than mom and dad aren't you? You have more white hairs!".
Thanks gals! Fortunately my youngest niece doesn't speak yet, otherwise she'd probably ask if I was Santa.

GG: You can hardly see the few gray ones. Kids tend to get a closer look when you hold them, hence they spot the very scarce gray ones easier. It MUST be it.

When he was 4 or 5, Kyle once told my sister she looked like an "old lady like Grandma." LOL!!! Not in a mean way, just an honest way. I keep asking him if I look like an old lady, but of course the guy is much smarter now!
Dcver: you must be prematurely gray, you are only 32!!! ??? Right??
kris: LOL Yes I am 32 and I am not gray.
I just have a few gray hairs but the overall 'picture' is dark brown hair and beard. You really have to search in order to find the gray ones, unless of course you are a little kid...
when i was thirty-one and was fast asleep in my own room one sunny afternoon, i was woken by a sharp pain in the middle of my chest
a girl i knew adstood laughing at the side of my bed holding one tiny grey hair between delicate thumb and fore-finger, and roaring with laughter at my shocked expression
"it's your first grey hair, tris!", she said sweetly
