I've said it more than once...

...and I'll say it again: some people are too dam stupid.
To the point of hurting themselves in the process of shunning logics.
When you show someone:
how something is done;
why it is done so;
what are the dangers and implications involved in doing it;
what can go wrong;
why can it go wrong;
what not to do
and most of all: what seems an easier way of doing it but is absolutely sure to cause an accident…

What is that person going to do the moment you turn your back after making sure the task has been performed a number of times without any problem?

Bingo!!!
Let’s do it the easier way, surely that guy is just telling me it’s dangerous to force me to do it his way.

After the accident, who does the person blame?
Well, no, not me. That could have been the right answer, he proved he is stupid enough to do that.
But this time he blamed the equipment manufacturer.
In a way he is right: the product didn’t bring a big yellow sign saying you DO need your brain cells to be alive and working in order to use their system.

Another thing I’ve said a number of times and will say again: science and technology are evolving at an amazing speed, mankind is regressing, soon we shall have spaceships able to cruise the galaxy and nothing but apes to crew those ships.

An old English proverb: a bad workman always criticises his tools.

And now, in this high tech age, the same thing happens.

Goes to prove what I always say...people are the same no matter what race, culture...no matter where. No matter when. One hundred years ago. Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow.

GG: Fortunately not everybody is that bad, some people are smart enough to at least don't mess up with things they don't understand.

Oooh, this guy sounds like he messed up BIG TIME! Was he just fooling around, thinking it was a toy, or did he really think he can do it?

GG: He tried it with something not as potent and for a very short period of time, and the wrong glass container withstood the vacuum, then he used the proper high vacuum pump, the same one I told him would shatter anything that was appropriate glassware. He got glass flying all over. That was suppose to be the project to end his degree...

GG: There is no point in asking how he got this far. One thing I can tell you, the three of us got into college at the same time, after a few years he went to a different university. All things added he must be trying to get his degree for some 14 years now.
