One of my favorite places in Sintra, Portugal.
This is part of the gardens of an old palace, these are the servants quarters to be exact.
The place is called Quinta da Regaleira.
It was built by a free mason and it is filled with symbols.
For me it is a beautiful house with wonderful gardens.

Really cool place; I had to google to watch more, and now I only want to travel there... Hmm plans for winter perhaps....
I Googled it too and it's exquisite. Not that would make for good art.

isa, isae and bent: then you should check the tourist info on Sintra, there are a lot of other interesting places to see also. of course I may be slightly biased on the subject...
I've heard that all of Portugal is beautiful.
[I almost, when I was a student at the university here, almost took up a scholarship to study in Portugal.]
