in my culture they say leprechauns are evil house posessors. if you return home and find it spotlessly clean than be VERY afraid because a little man with a beard has posessed your home.
or maybe that was just and excuse to keep the house slightly disorderly.
The first time I read about leprechauns, I got scared. I think it was a book of Irish tales.

ale: never heard about those little devils being nasty to good people, only about being playful...
GG: Scared?! From what I've read so far you need only fear them if you are greedy. Not that I do believe in leprechauns or pixies or whatever, I just like the idea of a smart and playful little guy doing justice on evilwishers.
In Hawaii, menehuenes come around and cause mischief.... take things you KNOW you had sitting there two seconds before... I swear they are real!
