Quinta da Regaleira
When I first elected a picture of Quinta da Regaleira as a Picture of the Week I said that was one of my favorite places in Sintra, these can show you why:

Cool. Portugal just moved up another notch or two on my list of places to visit...
Maybe I should get some hotels sponsoring me... nah. I don't want to turn blogging into business and I would hate having ads in my blog.
Anyway, you should visit Portugal and remember that so far you've had 'teasers' of Lisbon and surroundings, not much more. And Portugal IS a lot more.

Beautiful, just beautiful. I can see myself, sitting under a tree, relaxing, dreaming after a hard day's touring.
GG: And you can walk this gardens at 2PM during Summer without trouble because you have so much shade, like most of Sintra, and if the shade isn't enough you can simply take a walk through the garden's tunnels... it's really worth going there.
You know, DC, I sound like an idiot for always using adjectives like amazing and wonderful, but the pictures are deserving of such praise.
