It was time this blog had it’s own fineprint: Site optimized for browsers with a sense of humor. Best viewed after the third or fourth drink, blurry after the tenth or so. Criticism taken from those proven worthy, all others may take their chance at their own risk. Whatever you do don't take everything at face value and most of all respect the opinions and beliefs of others.
You surely can be proud of yourself and of your inquiring mind. My compliments to you and all your efforts to get to the bottom of things. Those efforts were not in vain. Be proud of yourself, you did it. You have reached the bottom of this blog!!!

It looks like body parts. Deep fried. Ick!
I'm wih bunnjo. Maybe corn kernels added in for fun..
Nope, no one got it right so far.
Perhaps a prize could be of incentive: the one who gets the right answer will get an e-mail with the recipe.
It's some kind of chicken. I don't cook, but I'll accept cash. ;)
Pakodas? Samosas? Something Indian? Deep fried, crispy and with pepper? Lots of garlic, onions.
Niiiice plate, love that blue and yellow.
Bent: Sorry, no wins this time
GG: You're getting warm.
I don't know what it is, but it
*tastes like chicken*
smooch!
Mmm...something fritters? Where's Anoop, bet he'd know if it's Indian.
bunny jo: It could hardly taste like chicken :P
GG: Yup, I think he'd recognize these fast enough. You know, in spite of all the different Portuguese dishes that I can cook sometimes I feel like something different for a change.
Looks like deep fried vegetables to me... Thinking about that chicken and rice makes me hungry-- and I just ate!
Its deep fried vegetables and its called pakora or pakori(dont know about the spelling cause its indian...)
Well? What is it? If you tell, I'll give you a recipe.
And the winner is...
well I guess we have two winners, isa, isae got the name right, this is mixed vegetable pakora and viking got the 'thing' right also.
The recipe has already been mailed to our norse friend, Viking's e-mail address however is undisclosed so I can't mail him the recipe.
I thought Anoop would be the winner.
Samoosas I never tried cooking, but those you can easily buy almost everywhere here in Portugal. A very popular snack, indeed.
tacit: Tempura is awesome too, but I don't cook Japanese yet.
Thnx for the recipe. You should also try this with rice boiled with red onions and chicpeas mixed in. And a tasty salad might be cucumbers and a little bit of skinned oranges, add as a mix; oliveoil, vingar balsamico, salt, pepper, lemonjuice and fresh pressed lime...
isa, ise: you sound like a good cook. Wow, a man who knows his spices....very intriguing!
Ive worked in as a voulenteer in an autonomous socail centre as a voulenteer for several years, make good and healthy food for homeless, outcasts drunks and poor people... Hopefully Ive learned something there....
Good for you! I think volunteer work is good for the soul. Plus, sounds like you learned something along the way. I quit volunteering a while back. I really need to get back into it.
