Going once, going twice... SOLD!!!
Just take a look at this!!!
Everything can be called art.
Amazing.
I can even understand the experiment. I can understand people storing the paintings as a memento or as some kind of joke.
OK, once, back in college, I was organizing an art exhibition and suddenly found a black plastic bag on the floor, the kind of plastic bag very common in Portugal as a garbage bag.
So I took the bag and placed it in a plastics recycle bin.
Big mistake, real huge mistake, that bag was a piece of art, the artist got so mad at me that he decided to take the remnants of his masterpiece and abandon the exhibition.
Maybe I really can’t understand some kinds of art...

A black plastic bag a piece of art? I'm with you on this one, I'm confused LOL
you and me both
kim - It seems he was suppose to lay some shredded photos on top of the plastic bag, although I never got to see the whole 'ensemble'
vit - You, an artist, don't understand it either? thanks, that makes me feel better ;)
One man's trash is another man's treasure. *lol*
Oh, by the way, thank you soooo much for getting me hooked on that Goliath website. *insert sarcasm here* There are at least two graphic tees from the "goodbye kitty" collection that I simply must have. Like I really need more t-shirts.
I could analyse it all for you all, but no one would believe me. snicker.
If that black plastic bag [with unseen shredded photos] is art, we have lots of art in our streets and canals.
Awrite, Awrite, no more suspense...I'll explain it.
This piece of Art is all about...
...people buying anything if it's marketed right. See why I snickered?
[But I did like the colours of the other ones on the BBC site I admit sheepishly].
bent - expensive trash, though...
GG - da higha da price, da mo'e da buyas
batatas - that would make you something like Drag Queen Victoria, lucky you that most people don't think it is art...
Isn't that wild? Mo'e money for it, mo'e da buyas.
I need to analyse that one, I don't understand if it's herd mentality...or we're just plain insecure, and we believe that if the thing costs more, then it must be good.
