Another step backwards.
It seems the Orthodox Church is also trying to go back into the darkness of the middle ages.
Well, this story of a nun being killed by crucifixion during an exorcism was probably the last thing I would expect to read in this weekend’s news.
Maybe I am being to harsh on the Orthodox Church, they are menacing the priest with excommunication, still a lot of people must have known what was happening, so how do they allow it without doing something?
The news is also quite clear on another disturbing issue: the nun had been diagnosed with schizophrenia. I always thought this would mean the patient would have to be under some kind of medical surveillance, not necessarily committed but with some kind of support. And still people call ME crazy… right.

Ohh, I read this and I was going to blog about it. So awful. awful, awful, awful.

Ow...
Strange death I guess... they should better chain her to a bed in a mental home instead. /Did she say smth about she has seen a Terminator? O.o../ Poor nun... It's not a wonder that some nuns can suffer from different mental diseases. Everyone can suffer -- no one insured to go insane some day. But it's of course pity that these other nuns and the priest did not try to call a psychiatrist. It's anti-humane.
Wow! I am speechless.
Now that I think about it I probably would have suffered the same fate as I am bipolar. Eeks!
This is so upsetting I don't even want to think about it. Muchless talk about it. I saw it in our papers yesterday.
Jane - at first I just couldn't believe it...only after reading in several places did I realize it was true
Shyha - no offense meant, I have several friends from Krakow that are orthodox, and I do not know your religion...
Anna - when she became a nun she was already diagnosed, weird
Bent - stay away from orthodox exorcists dear, we need you posting ;)
GG - sorry...
