It was time this blog had it’s own fineprint: Site optimized for browsers with a sense of humor. Best viewed after the third or fourth drink, blurry after the tenth or so. Criticism taken from those proven worthy, all others may take their chance at their own risk. Whatever you do don't take everything at face value and most of all respect the opinions and beliefs of others.

Carravaggio may well be the unsung hero of the Renaissence.
I am no art expert. This painting was selected only because it was the Narcissus painting that came to mind, but you may be right, the way he mastered light and shadows is amazing.
Yet how many have been forgotten, and how many more have been overshone by all the great masters? Being very good sometimes isn't enough, when everybody around is excellent...
My favorite....how did you know?!?!
