Ok, deep breath, another one.
A friend of mine sent THIS LINK to me. He actually e-mailed several people with this link.
No comments. No witty remark. No questions.
I tried to check the story. No info on the alleged scientist.
I browsed a few sites about this hoax, checked the info on those sites (no links now, try and find it yourselves if you want to, if you can't ask me for links in a couple of days).
Then I got some more info on the guy that registered this Jump Day site.
When I finally was about to e-mail the answer back to him, another friend of ours had found something even better: a former colleague that already had read about this on ‘several scientific magazines’ and who was pretty sure there would be government involvement in order to urge the exact number of people to jump but also to prevent an excessive number of jumpers.

When we were kids my big brother used to tell us, if all the Chinese in China jumped all at the same time, there would be a tidal wave.
