Been there, done that
Ever had the feeling?
I do, a lot.
So now we are trying to get some ideas for new stuff to try, and it turned out to be quite hard.
This is what I ask of you: a list of up to ten things to do, kind of "ten things really worth doing before you die".

well, you said you already did sky diving... so i'm guessing you've done scuba diving also...?
if not- you should deffinitely!
visiting a different country is always great- so here is my list:
1. malta
2. greek islands
3. africa - a bunch of places there i'd love to go-
4. ausralia
5. tiera del fuego
6. norway
8. dubai
9. madeira islands
10. carribean island hopping-
there is my list- was lots of places i havn't been yet-- what i'm trying to say is that when traveling you'll always encounter someone or something new- (and we'll have more pictures to see!!)
Geesh. That's hard. I've really never thought about it. How about: Before you die, drink a Guinness in Ireland's Galway while eating fresh oysters. Heaven!
My boss is hovering so I will have to answer this one later. :)
I'd say that everyone should work with children and teens before they die. They offer a fresh perspective on the world and in your life. I've learned so much about myself and what I want and don't want out of life.
Jane
1) Learn how to ride a motorcycle.
2) Skydive.
3) Visit Paris, Australia and England.
4) Finally meet the woman of my dreams.
5) Find my birth mother.
6) Run a marathon.
7) Learn how to play the guitar.
8) Sing in a band. Yeah, like that's ever gonna happen. Learning to sing in key would be a good start, but a girl can dream.
9) Climb Mt. Everest.
10) Witness the sanctioning of gay rights though I am convinced it will not happen in my lifetimes.
These are not necessarily my top 10, but they are things I can come up with off the top of my head.
You didn't say what yours are. :)
ale: Yup, did scuba too. As for traveling most of the destinations you mentioned are on our wish list, pending time and budget.
bees knees: fresh oysters and a Guinness don’t qualify as novelty, but I’ll try and do it in Ireland one of these days…
tacit: lived in Scotland, want to go back there one day, all the other places are either in the let’s go again or the wish we’d go some day, typical food is mandatory (that is how I came to try lizard meat) unless they serve me insects (where I draw the line), full body massage, well, the Good Half and I together…
jane: have been a scouts leader for several years
bent: from what I’ve seen of your taste, I wouldn’t mind meeting the woman of your dreams too (as for mine, if I haven’t already something is wrong around here), learning to sing in key would also be a hard one for me, guess I already gave up on it
My wish list:
Travel, we do travel a bit, as can be seen by our photos, but there are still hundreds of places we’d like to go to (snorkel in Korkula, Croatia; visit Brazil – scheduled; dive in the Caribbean; snowboard in New Zealand; etc...)
Take a hot-air balloon ride (not just up and down, a real ride)
Take a leisure cruise (Good Half is an oceanographer, so work cruises DON’T count)
To all of you who answered so far: hope you manage to do all those things and a lot more!
Ooh, I would like to do Brazil and the hot air balloon, too. :)
Gee...and here I am, still thinking...what am I? Slow or just no ambition? yikes...still thinking...
take your time GG
:)
