Bigger, make it bigger...
Yes make it bigger, much bigger!
And at the same time much smaller, also.
And faster. Of course you have to make it cheaper too, that goes without saying.
What am I going to use the computer for? Ah, well, I mean, pretty much the same as everybody, I s'pose, you know, internet and stuff. And games, yeah, games.
This is probably the portrait of most computer buyers nowadays, they want state of the art machines, bigger hard drives (Seagate just announced their new 500Gb, and also announced that they will soon enter the terabyte era), faster processors, smaller boxes, and for what? They really do not know.
We are very far from the RCA COSMAC 1802, this was the chip that controlled the Voyager probes (actually it was not one but three chips).
I wonder how many people recall the first portable computers. PDAs were nothing but a dream, if anything.
My point? Well, some of my work is done with computers, and computers are one of my hobbies, and usually I do not need the latest processor model or anything on that line, so the point is really why do home-users buy that stuff?

The day I get excited about home computers is the day they clean my house and give me multiple orgasms all within a few hours. Until then, woop de do!
