Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, hubbie to diamond
-Wow, what is that?
- My boyfriend
- An engagement ring? Great! I am so happy for you!
- No, this is not an engagement ring, THIS is actually him, you see, he died, and I got his ashes turned into a diamond. Isn’t it wonderful?
Weird?! Well, there is a company that states this is no longer just a sci-fi scenario, they claim they really turn your loved ones ashes into diamond.
Can you imagine carrying your ancestry in a beautiful diamond necklace? Having granny turned into a pair of earrings? Your wife in your tie pin? Your husband in a gold ring?
I really don’t understand why, but the idea of a Mafia Don having a rival family offed and turned into a bracelet for his daughter popped into my mind…
Is it just me or the all concept is a bit strange? Why have a loved one turned into a jewel? So you can show it around? To keep in a safe?
Plus the process is expensive. Sorry if I seem naïf, but if one really wants to honor a dead loved person, wouldn’t it be a lot nicer to use that money doing some good to some orphan kid or anything in that line?

Oh, that's awesome.
Though, I'm hella poor, so I'd just get a little pendant that I could put some ashes in and carry them around.
Though the mafia don thing totally rocks.
I agree...use the money to help the living.
