New family member

No, GH is not pregnant, and those of you out there "cursing" us with the twins spell will have to wait a little more.
For the time being we just got ourselves a bonsai...
But it seems this little Elm is going to take a lot of work just to stay alive.
This may seem like not much of an event for you people, but the truth is we used to kill all the plants we had.
During the last couple of months things seem to have started to change.
We've got several plants and they are still with us, three on the balcony, a miniature cactus garden in the kitchen, some lucky bamboos in the living room and now we are going to try it with a bonsai.
The funny thing is that all this green little things make the place look completely different. It does feel nice to have these plants around.

I love plants around the house! And a few herbs on the window sill!
That Bonsai looks healthy! Don't you go slashing it too often!

It's cute! I want one. I've also been buying a few here and there the last few months. I have ten or so others that have managed to live despite my constant neglect. It is nice to bring the outside in.

Oh my oh my, your family's growing, Dcver.

Aw, that's one lovely little plant.

Talk to them, play music for them.

Oh, and water them too.

Don't water them too much! I killed the one bonsai I had. Painful when they are as pricey as they are.

Have you posted recent photos of the place all fixed up and ou guys moved in? I do remember that cool kitchen. :)

bonsai trees are beautiful!
plants never survive under my supervision either, so if you crack the secret on how to keep that gorgeous bonsai alive, let me know and we might invest in one! :)

You know, that kinda looks like a real tree, only smaller.

Funny.

(I'd even do an emoticon but I'm too sophisticated and snobby to express myself that way.)

ale: It hasn't been named yet...

cream: I wouldn't dare slashing it right now... it's probably too stressed with its new home already!

phoenix: I'll do my best

cave renovator: Great! Maybe we can share some bonsai tips!

christine: I wouldn't try buying any more for. Let me check if I can handle this one first.

GG: That talking to them thing will probably get me committed...

Kris: Nope. No new pictures yet… the place is rather messy now, but don’t worry, you’ll get to see it soon.

Nyasha: Let’s hope the secret is discovered before the little fellow meets the maker…

NML: We also got some cactus from Ikea… they’ve been here for two months now, trust me – it is a record!

Chill daddy: That’s the whole point about bonsais! Now I only have to find a way to shrink ponies enough to herd them under the bonsai!!!
