It was time this blog had it’s own fineprint: Site optimized for browsers with a sense of humor. Best viewed after the third or fourth drink, blurry after the tenth or so. This is a detail of the Portuguese National Pantheon (Panteão Nacional), also called Panteão de Santa Engrácia. It is located in Lisbon. This church was originally built to keep the bodies of the Portuguese kings of the Bragança dinasty, but is nowadays used as a tomb for important icons of the Portuguese culture like Amália Rodrigues (famed fado singer).

You certainly are a wonderful architectural photographer...hey ... for a science guy you sure do have a nice artistic side. (appreciation for petry, literature, history, photography, etc.) That's just one of the myriad reasons we luv ya dc! (you're a lucky gal, GH!)
