Movie suggestion #3
This is an amazing film about the arrest, questioning, trial and execution of Sophie Scholl.A true story of honor and courage. During the Third Reich some Germans may have showed the world some of the worst and lower aspects of the human condition, but some have showed the best and most uplifting aspects of that same human condition.
Most people don't seem to know anything about these unsung heroes. I confess I didn’t know about them until I heard about this film either.

Try and get on to those books by Sven Hassel, soldier in the German army...no, he wasn't selling heroes, just a side you'd never have known...
o i was meaning to go see that film before i left and never did. i'll make the effort now i know its good
Sounds dull.
That being said, I would probably like it.

isis: It had been on my list for a few weeks too, but my movie list is usually short.
viking: It is no Holyhood action packed mindless blockbuster, but it is a great movie that makes us ponder aspects in history and in life we may sometimes overlook.
ale: I beg to difer. Kris had metioned a great movie and I only got it when I went there, also there are theaters that show alternative movies there. To top it all even your monster video clubs keep some great movies.

Exactly my point. There is not a single action packed Hollywood blockbuster that I enjoy (except perhaps Back to the Future and the original Superman, but those were the good ol' days...)
