Merry Xmas everybody

We're still alive.
We took some time off to visit this:
Then GH had to attend a meeting in San Francisco, not all work judging from her pics:
Now we're going to spend Xmas with our families and afterwards we'll be heading to Madeira to enjoy New Year's Eve alone... Like a third honeymoon. Huuummm... make that an n th. honeymoon!
Although I've been completely neglecting this poor blog I could not leave without dropping by to wish you all the best for 2007!

Good to see you back, if only for a short time. But come back... come back... come back... (breaks into the first verse of the Skye Boat Song "Sleep bonnie boy like the bird on a wing, over the sea to Skye...) Don't bother to look it up it's a bloody miserable song about the popinjay Bonnie Prince Charlie who led a rebellion in Scotland against the English plus bits about his miserable little rich kid life, well, maybe not so miserable given he was a prince but bet he was a git nevertheless. Should also say that BPC's rebellion was not about freeing Scotland from the English but gaining Scotland to serve under him. Hmmm got a bit distracted there.

my chance to rant ... i remember the mezqita in cordoba when it was darkly mysterious and magical ... before they fitted too many halogen lights and laid modern kitchen tiles to replace the old floors ... otherwise, merry christmas and a happy new year
