I'm relieved! Hopefully it didn't happen, and only was refered to the last bombings(not that they are forgotten either)... But al-quaida have been in the media promising new attacks, so it came as no surprice, if it had occured. Hopefully these fanatics; money-earning warmongers on the western half, and religious fundamentalists will start to blow up each other instead of innocent people in between. Warfare was abit more fair when the kings rode out on a planned battlefield and not just dropped some bombs from a plane too high to discover or blew themselves away in rushhour traffic...
I live in a country that's becoming increasingly violent, we are anticipating violence this election year.
Ask anyone who lives in a violent country about 'survival' mechanisms, the need to tune out for the sake of mental health.
Being 'angry' about a situation, having heated opinions, it's not enough.
I think we need to think in a cool, rational manner. But there are not enough men around thinking this way. It's all about anger, and who's more right than who. And then folks fall out, stop speaking to each other.
GG: We all have to tune out to keep sane sometimes. And it is true we all ought to be calm and rational about everything. Ghandiji showed us we can change things without violence, but it takes a lot to unite enough people to do it, even if you do gather enough peaceful resistants it takes very long to change anything. And most of us don't have a Mahatma's strength.
It was time this blog had it’s own fineprint: Site optimized for browsers with a sense of humor. Best viewed after the third or fourth drink, blurry
after the tenth or so. Criticism taken from those proven worthy, all others may take their chance at their own risk. Whatever you do don't take everything at
face value and most of all respect the opinions and beliefs of others.

Palestinian elections??
no thats last week--
Portugese elections I presume... And perhaps that mr. Silva is back on the throne with 50,2 percent off the votes...
30th of January 1972. Londonderry. Bloody Sunday.
And another four bombs in London.
Insanity goes on.
Bad guessing, huh:)
Weird, nothing about any bombs in London in media here...
What???
God bless the good old American media. Not a word yesterday on my t.v.
Do you have the links, I can't find it anywhere....
Do like me D, when it gets too bad, tune out. Sometimes we do need to tune out.
isa, isae: I've read in the news digest at work. Now that you mentioned it I started looking and I can't find it either. Weird, I'll look into it.
GG: That's one step towards apathy though...
isa, isae: I'm starting to get the feeling someone screwed up big time.

isa, isae: I'm suspecting the people who prepare those news digest e-mails for us have messed things up and included some dated news.
Not really apathy, D...I think, how can I help, what can I do to make the situation better?
But sometimes it gets too overwhelming for me, and I can't think straight, then I DO need to tune out.
D...apathy?
