It was time this blog had it’s own fineprint: Site optimized for browsers with a sense of humor. Best viewed after the third or fourth drink, blurry after the tenth or so. Criticism taken from those proven worthy, all others may take their chance at their own risk. Whatever you do don't take everything at face value and most of all respect the opinions and beliefs of others.
You surely can be proud of yourself and of your inquiring mind. My compliments to you and all your efforts to get to the bottom of things. Those efforts were not in vain. Be proud of yourself, you did it. You have reached the bottom of this blog!!!
Oh… if the post you were looking for is no longer here, search for it in my archives.

Nice photo.
You should be glad you don't have a mountain like that nearby. That's the kind of mountain that will one day explode and cover you in ashes...
viking: That must have been the fastest comment I've ever got!!! Well, Portugal is almost over a major tectonic fault, one of these days we can get hit by a major earthquake... not much different from living near a volcano, in fact it is even worst, volcanoes usually "warn" before erupting.
I always feel at one with the world when I'm around mountains.
Yes, mountains are good...
Even better when you are on top... but you have to get there!
Word Verif: BUGZNO
This is funny cos I know Viking hates bees...
anyone tried heli-skiing? helicopter droping you of on top of a mountain--
It looks lovely but I shiver just looking at it as it looks verrry cold!
US: In a way being at the top of a mountain brings mixed feelings, I feel small facing all that I can see around me and at the same time there is the magic of being in a place few people go, well maybe not exactly few, but only some, like feeling lucky to be there myself.
cream: Getting to the top there is easy, just hop on the lift and let yourself be carried up. If there is a problem that will be coming down: ski, board or roll down!
ale: Not exactly the skilled boarder to go be dropped by a heli yet... maybe some day I'll try it, if I improve a lot.
NML: Adrenaline helps you stay warm. ;)
There are times in my life, when I wish to go up to the mountains and stay there... There are times when I have need for anything but having to deal with the common Homo sapiens of our days.
Sorry... I'm in a bad mood today...
BB
ariadne: What is so Sapiens about Mankind? Hope by now your day has improved. Take care.
tacit: It is beautiful. I've always said I am a lucky guy, havent I?!
I love that!
dc...I thought of you today, not because of this mountain, but because there is a job opening in YOUR line of work here at the natural energy lab. Probably doesn't pay what you are used to but you get to live in Hawaii! GH could get a job in geology and you guys could move here. :) OK, just a thought..: (And we have mountains too!)
kris: Ok, I admit it, moving to Hawai'i really is tempting. Can you send me a link to that place? Not that I'll ruin for it, but I'll give it a look. And I guess you know Hawai'i is THE only place on Earth I consider moving to...
